We’ve addressed lots of myths about psychiatric medications(opens in new tab), medication assisted treatment (MAT) and substance use before, but we’ve still only scratched the surface. With Overdose Awareness Day on August 31, we thought we’d check back in with a couple of our experts to revisit some previous myths, explore some new ones, and find out what’s actually true in the world of MAT and addiction.
